Aubrey L. Johnson

Aubrey L. Johnson, age 73 of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was born and raised in Atmore, AL, and attended Auburn University. He resided in Milton, Florida prior to moving to Kentucky in 1981. He was a member of New Life Church. He was president of Johnson Group, Inc. and member of Glen Oaks Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Vernon and Mamie Loraine Hardee Johnson; and his brother, Dennis Vernon Johnson, Jr.

Aubrey is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty June Johnson; children, Amanda Johnson, Aubrey L. Johnson, II (Al) and his wife Jill, Todd Brian Johnson and his wife Miriam; six grandchildren who were the light of his life, Austin, Blake, Megan, Spencer, Lauren and Tiffany; loving sister, Loraine J. Weinmann (Ron); and is also survived by a host of family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson Place for their care and love of Aubrey.

Funeral ceremony will be 2pm Saturday, August 24, 2013 at New Life Church 3402 Goose Creek Road with visitation there on Friday from 4-7pm and Saturday noon until time of service, with Pastors Carroll and Tim Parish officiating. Burial will follow service in Worthington Cemetery.
