Coffey, Ashley Richard, Sr., 66, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 11, 2014.
Ashley was born on August 30, 1948, in Green County, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce (Asbury) Jolly; brothers, Gary Coffey, and Clayton Asbury.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis Ann (Becker) Coffey; father, Richard Coffey (Lorine); children, Patricia Bentley (Michael), Ashley R. Coffey, Jr., and Tonia Coffey; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Michael Coffey, Colleen Jefferies (James), Joanie Coffey (Lisa), Clinton Asbury (Sharon), Timmy Coffey; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from 12pm to 8pm on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Funeral Ceremony to honor the life of Ashley will be held Tuesday at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, visitation will resume on Tuesday from 10am until time of service, with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
