Arvis L. Sutton, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Arvis LeJuan Sutton, or as he was affectionately known by his close family and friends, Juan, was a caring loving husband, father, and friend. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Juan was an expert marksman with excellent sharpshooting skills. For his service he was awarded a purple heart and two bronze stars. For Juan, his military service was his greatest accomplishment. When he returned home to civilian life he worked diligently until his retirement and took care of those he loved most. Juan enjoyed cooking, working on small projects around his home, riding his motorcycle, hanging out with the family dog and just simply spending time with a small circle of immediate family and friends. Juan didn't care about money or material things, all he wanted was to give love and receive love and it was our honor to be able to give him what he craved the most.....love. Husband, father, friend, we love you, we miss you and you will never be forgotten.
To My husband Arvis L Sutton who has been the light of my life, thank you for loving me and protecting me. We shared many good times together, your unconditional love, respect and loyalty for me will never ever be forgotten, I do not believe I will ever meet another beautiful soul such as yours, you gave me a reason for living, we looked out for each other and took care of each other. I miss you so much, it's hard for me to accept your death, but know I will always love you, I know God will hold me together until we meet again, so long for now my precious husband.
