Arthur "Art" Raymond Flick Jr., 65, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, September 26, 2022. Art was born on March 16, 1957 to Arthur Sr. and Shirley Flick in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In San Diego, California, he experienced "love at first site" when he met and then married the love of his life on August 12, 1989, Pamela Beahm. In 2001, Art opened, owned, and operated a mechanic business for 21 years, "Art's Tune & Lube". Art was a proud Kentucky Colonel and Tennessee Colonel. Art had a second love, his Bayliner boat, riding fast on Taylorsville Lake, doing donuts, and dunking his wife and sister from time to time.
Art was a true animal lover with a fondness for cats. He leaves behind, in the loving care of his wife, 5 cats: Foxy, Maui, Izzy, Cloi, and Jenni. He had a great since of humor, pulling jokes on everyone when he got the chance. He was a grill-master and could be found flipping a steak, burger, or braut with a Budweiser in his hand.
Art is preceded by Arthur Flick Sr. and his sister, Cindy Lynn Flick. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 33 years, Pamela Flick; his sister, Janey (Richard) Bishop and their children, Brian Bishop, David Anderson, and Patricia Bishop; his brother-in-laws, Trey (Janet) Beahm and his children, Robert (Michelle) and Michael (Tessa), Derek (Martha) Beahm and their children, Sam Summers and Meagan Summers; his godson and nephew, Ryan (Carrera) Beahm; his goddaughter and niece, Anna Evanthia Beahm; his best friends Tim and Donna Gahlinger, as well as other relatives and friends who will remember him always.
The family sends their deepest love and appreciation for Dr. Ignacio Montes and the CBC staff, Baptist Health Louisville Hospital staff, and Hosparus for their devoted care for Art and his family during this time.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) from 2:00pm - 3:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 3:00pm.
