Arthur Dwight Casto

Arthur Dwight "Sock Man" Casto, 74, passed away on October 12, 2022. He owned Pride Hosiery in North Carolina and later moved to Louisville selling socks at various shows and flea markets in several states. Dwight was known as "Sock Man" to his many friends and customers. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and watching western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Casto.

Dwight leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Laurie Casto; daughter, Kayley Brooke Casto, Renee Bird, Kevin Casto, Melissa Caldwell, Scott Casto, Timothy Meredith and Stephanie Meredith; numerous grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith (Karen) Casto and fur baby, Lucy Lou

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Dwight's life will be Thursday, October 20, 2022, beginning at 12pm at the funeral home.
