Arthur Bradley Sargent

Mr. Arthur Bradley Sargent, age 72 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012. He was originally from Evarts, Kentucky. He retired from Dawson and Baker Packing Company, was a member of the Pentecostal faith, and was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Bobby, Evelyn, Bradley and Michael.

Mr. Sargent is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Sizemore Sargent; children, Eddie Couch (Charlene), Arlene Murphy (Kevin); grandchildren, Leslie Murphy, Brian March (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Braden, Alexis, Daesha; siblings, Sylvia Short, Shelby Sargent, Shirley Tramel. Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with visitation there 2-7:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Couch Fork Cemetery in Hyden, Kentucky.
