Ardis Ruth Wickens
October 13, 1939 — May 14, 2014
Ardis Ruth Wickens, age 74 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She was active in working with the homeless and was a good friend to many. Ardis was a member of Church of the Epiphany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon; and her parents, Clarence and Ruth Hawks Branche.
Ardis is survived by her children, Wendy Sperling (Don), Jon Wickens and Brian Wickens; grandchildren, Christopher Wickens, Ocean Wickens, Sean Wickens, Amanda Sperling and Jacob Sperling; sister, Bonnie Keady (Jim); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Mass of celebration will be 9:30 am Monday, May 19, 2014 at Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road with burial in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-6pm Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive.
