Anthony Tony Cooksey, age 57 of Louisville, passed away Friday, December, 14 2012. Tony was born in Louisville, KY on December 30, 1954 to the late Theodore Cooksey and Pinkie Seward.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Cooksey; Aunts, Cleo and Ida Cooksey, Rosetta McDaniels, and Glenis Simpson; and nephew Robert Scott Jr.
Tony is survived by his siblings; Robert Lee, Arthur Scott, Ronald Cooksey, Curtis Leslie, Michael Cooksey, Jerome Cooksey, Gwendolyn Bartee, and Angela Johnson, and Tangela, Deborah, Devana, Ricky, David, Dwayne, Darryl, and Marketta, and Kenny Belt; Aunts, Pearl, Mable, Ruth, and Isabel and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and in-laws.
Visitaton will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. Mass of Christian burial will be 11am, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3308 Chauncey Avenue, Louisville, KY 40211 with interment to follow at Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery.
