Anthony DeShawn Todd

Anthony Deshawn Todd (aka Shawnie, Tony, Pretty T, Coach) was called home on July 28th, 2024. He has now been reunited with his father, Anthony Todd; sister, Shatara Todd and his grandmother, Dalphine Todd.

He is survived by his mother, Lynn Hinkle; siblings, Makayia, Deon and Anthony; grandparents, Joseph and Michelle Todd; his children, Lyric and Aniyah Todd and a host of nieces and nephews. 

He was a firm believer in God and a member of Forest Baptist Church. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whomever needed it. He had a passion for sports and was the go to guy for any sports talk. He had big plans for the future and was very excited for the new journeys he was soon to begin. 

Anthony’s personality brought warmth and happiness to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-2pm with a celebration of Todd's life beginning at 2pm.
