Anthony Wayne Davis Sr., 61, was born on October 02, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late George Davis Jr. and the late Charlotte Davis. God called him home on Saturday, February 17th 2024.
Anthony was a devoted child of God, he gave his life over to Christ at a young age.
Anthony had a deep love for football. He played while he was in school. His favorite teams were University of Louisville, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Anthony had a passion for cooking and spent countless hours in the kitchen perfecting his culinary skills. He also developed a strong interest in chess and became quite skilled at the game, developing a deep understanding of the strategies and tactics involved.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory: children, Aboni' Davis, Antoinette Taylor (David), Anthony Davis Jr., Alyson Carter (Lawrence); grandchildren, Justus Davis; sister, Phyllis Felton; brother, Dana Davis; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church Pewee Valley (7104 Old Floydsburg Rd, Pewee Valley, KY 40056).
