Anthony Richard Dasaro

Anthony Richard Dasaro, 80, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. He was a graduate of Bellarmine University and a retired educator from JCPS. Anthony had a passion for raising pigeons and was a member of several pigeon clubs. He always enjoyed traveling to different events to visit with other pigeon fanciers. Anthony's greatest love of all was his family, especially his children and grandchildren who brought great joy into his life.

He was born on July 6, 1943, in Plainview, New York, to the late Nathan Dasaro and Bernice (Gueci) Dasaro.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pamela Dasaro; children, Christopher (Denise) Dasaro, Michelle (Sam) Daugherty, and Michael Dasaro; sister, Maryellen Gooley; brother, Joseph Dasaro; grandchildren, Molly Daugherty, Ben Daugherty, Charlie Daugherty, and Joseph Daugherty; great-nephew, Matthew Watson; his faithful canine companion, Dolly; sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Gooley.

Cremation was chosen following Anthony's wishes, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
