Annie B. (Goodrich) Norris

Annie B. (Goodrich) Norris, 79, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, went to be with the love of her life on Monday, December 12, 2011. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Albany and touched so many lives, especially the youth she helped educate for over 30 years in the New Albany – Floyd County School system. She also was a former employee at Regional Federal Bank in New Albany. Annie was an avid Cleveland Browns and UofL Cardinals fan, and absolutely cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Annie was born on August 9, 1932 in Brunswick County, Virginia to the late Robert P. and Julia (Hobbs) Goodrich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Norris, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Albert Dumas and his wife, Jackie, of Houston, TX, Errol Alexander Dumas and his girlfriend, Pam Rice, Julia Norris, William T. Norris, Jr., and his wife, Carol, all of New Albany, and Ronald Norris and his wife, Christi, of Jeffersonville; siblings, Joe Goodrich and Maryland Brown; grandchildren, Romero Norris, Ronald Ray and his girlfriend, Audrey Moreillon, Elizabeth Norris, Krystal Harris, Joshua Williams, Kimberly Dumas, Jason Dumas, Trenton Norris, Ashlee Norris; and great grandchild, Aaliyah Ray.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 12 noon on Saturday in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home followed by entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
