Annabelle Mercer

September 14, 1919 — September 27, 2013

Mercer, Annabelle (Knott), passed away on Friday, September 27, at the age of 94. She was a devoted wife and mother caring for all on the family farm in West Point, Kentucky. She was a member of Riverport Community Church, Triple L Club and a fifty year member of the Homemaker's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas Mercer; parents, Virgil and Locy Knott; brothers, Estill, Lewis, Toby and Virgil, Jr.

She is survived by daughters, Glenda (Jim) Winchell, Judy (Glen) Elmore; son Tommy (Theresa) Mercer; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn McQuillen.

Visitation will be Monday, September 30, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY). Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 1, at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that expressions of sympathy be made to the charity of their choice.
