Anna Walls

Anna L. (Gardner) Walls, 93, of New Albany passed away on November 2, 2011. Anna was a former member of First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and was a member of State Street Baptist Church in New Albany.

Anna was born on December 4, 1917 in New Albany to the late Robert and Etta (Yarbrough) Gardner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin W. Walls; sons, David, Larry, and Steve Walls; sisters, Hazel Guilfoyle and Betty Knox; and brother, Benjamin Gardner.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Walls of New Albany; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 and 9 to 11 AM on Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, November 5, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
