Anna Kathryn (Miller) Leffler

June 15, 1937 — June 26, 2021

Anna Kathryn (Miller) Leffler, 84, of Sellersburg, Indiana, formerly of New Albany, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Anna was proud to be from New Albany, was an avid Bulldog fan, and was involved with many organizations within the community. She retired after many years of work in the city/county building, was a member of the 40&8 Voiture 1250, the Democrat Women's Club, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at both the Bonnie Sloan American Legion and the local VFW.

She was born on June 15, 1937, in English, Indiana, to the late John and Martha (Blevins) Miller. Along with her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leffler; and son, John Waldrews.

Ann is survived by her children, George Waldrews, Scott Waldrews, and Lesley (Steve) Berst; grandchildren, Jason Waldrews, Chelsea Waldrews, Emily Bennett, Nick Rekuch, Jessica Potter, and John Waldrews; great-grandson, Christian Waldrews; and sisters, Louise Ryland and Linda Popp.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Cremation will follow according to Anna's wishes. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the New Albany National Cemetery.
