Anna Marie Hobbs , 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2022.
She was born on January 19, 1928 in Muldraugh, Kentucky to the late John and Victoria (Siefert) Muhlherr. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sylas Glen Hobbs, Jr., sister, Catherine Muhlherr, brother, John Muhlherr, and her son in-law, Joseph V. Baker, Jr..
Anna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. A strong woman of faith; she was a long time member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Anna was also a member of Modern Woodmen Insurance Company; where she was Camp Secretary and Director of Adult and Junior Camp Activities for many years.
Anna is survived by her loving children, Carolyn Ann Hobbs, Valerie Denise Baker and Larry Glen (Karen) Hobbs, grandchildren, Brooke, Britte, Bryce, Jason, Michelle and Nathan, great grandchildren, Tailor, Anthony, Aiden, Olivia, Beckett and Wrenly, along with her brother, Donald Muhlherr.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens in Cecilia, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Anna's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
