Anna Margaret (Minton) Casey

Anna Margaret (Minton) Casey, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. She retired from Jefferson County Public Schools after working for several years in the cafeteria at Stuart Middle School. Anna enjoyed collecting antiques and was an animal lover, especially when it came to cats.

She was born on July 25, 1931 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to Henry and Etta (Young) Minton. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Casey; and sisters, Opalea Nelson, Corine Eaden and Fairzina Ball.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Betsy Stamper (Roger), Susan Casey; grandchildren, Christie Baugher, Casey Baugher (Kate); and great-grandchildren, Oscar and Beatrice Baugher.


Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville.
