ROBINSON, ANN, was a strong independent woman. She went to join the Lord Thursday, December 15, 2011.
Ann enjoyed being a military wife and mother. She retired from Boland-Maloney Lumber Co. in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Robinson; as well as her parents; and siblings.
She is survived by her grateful children, Cecilia Henderson (Lincoln) and Barbara Allison (Jim). Ann was blessed with four grandchildren, Wesley Henderson (Julie), Stacey Sheeley (Brian), Clay Allison (Marketa) and Kristen Hosey (Ryan). She was further blessed with 10 great-grandchildren. The Henderson boys are Kyle, Andrew, Connor, Spencer, Christian, and Ian. The Sheeley girls are Courteney, Lynnsey, Alexis, and Reganne.
Ann was a joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. She was a great conversationalist and a caring listener. Ann was an accomplished bridge player and loved to dance. She told us all that her longevity was due to her athleticism in her younger years. She will be greatly missed by all who know and loved her.
Funeral ceremony will be noon Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Middletown United Methodist Church, 11902 Old Shelbyville Road (Main St.). Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service.
