Ann Rose (McDonough) Moore, 86, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. She retired from DOW Chemical in Midland, Michigan. A devout Catholic, Ann attended daily mass at Mount St. Francis and was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville, where she cantored and participated in the choir. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed going for walks, swimming in her pool and loving on her cats.
She was born on July 30, 1937 in Stambaugh, Michigan to Howard and Anna Mae (Mahon) McDonough. Along with her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William "Mike" Moore; and brothers, Robert and Paul McDonough.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Polly Little (Joseph), Tracy Clark (Michael); grandchildren, Joseph "Joey," Jackson, Cecilia Little, Madeline, William Clark; and sister, Eileen Kelleher.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church (2500 St. Mary's Drive NE, Lanesville) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
