A long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Ann was the epitome of volunteerism for her children's many activities. Supporting her husband's career in many ways over the years, she leaves a legacy of loyalty and generosity to her family, friends, and neighbors.
Ann was born March 8, 1958 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late Fred P. and Cecilia S. (Saxon) Carron.
Ann was a mother, sister, and wife. She was well loved by her family because of her constant desire to help other people. She loved her children and husband and only wanted for them to be happy and successful. When Ann entered the room, it was immediately lit up by her vivacious personality and smile. Her light will shine on through her family.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, William "Bill" H. Garner III, M.D.; children, William "Billy" Garner IV and his wife, Dulce, Paul Garner and his girlfriend, Lyndsay Carr, and Mary Garner and her boyfriend, Brian Casey; grandchild, Quentin Garner; and brothers, Richard and Michael Carron.
Visitation will be from 12PM to 6PM on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
