Anita Lynn (Sheets) Richert

Anita Lynn (Sheets) Richert, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She had a lifelong career as a barber and attended Indian Creek Baptist Church. Anita enjoyed drag racing, creating arts and crafts, and was an avid animal lover.

She was born on January 24, 1958. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Margaret (Donlon) Sheets. She is survived by her cousins, Robert and Joy; dear friends, Ed, Missy and Julie; as well as many other extended friends.

Anita's wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in the fellowship hall at Indian Creek Baptist Church (3431 Georgetown-Greenville Road, Georgetown, IN 47122) with a celebration of Anita's life taking place in the sanctuary at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest privately at Edwardsville Cemetery.
