Mrs. Anita Carol (Leigh) Tucker McQueen, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
She is survived by her loving husband, John McQueen, who loved and cared for her for the past few months during her recent illness.
The most loved Mother in the whole world, by her children Beverley Leonhardt, David (Joyce) Tucker, Kay (Jim) Sherrard, Penny (Dan) Brown and Brenda (Lynn) Perry. She was also the best Grandma in the world to her grandchildren, Kasi (Jon) Pierce, Hamilton (Sarah) Pullen, Aaron Leonhardt, Elizabeth Leonhardt, Jami Tucker, Dave Tucker, Jeremy Hilbert, Jenna (Justin) Ruholl, Kristi (Phil) Tucker, Tim (Jin) Pendergrass, Cassady Hilbert and Chris Hilbert.
Anita was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kendall Pierce, Max Pullen III, Jeremy Hilbert, Jr., Nicholas Tucker, Benjamin Tucker, Austin Pendergrass and Andrew Pendergrass.
Anita has one surviving sister, Toni Worley from West Palm Beach, FL; and two nieces, Tara (Jose) Rebimbas and Tamara Worley; along with two great-nephews, Bradley Worley and Emmaus Rebimbas.
Anita, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma . . . we will forever cherish our time with you and be eternally grateful that God thought we were good enough to be YOUR family! We love you, but also know that you are united with God and Mamaw Black. You have now come full circle.
A celebration of Anita's life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenship Parkway with burial in the Masonic Cemetery at Stamping Ground, Kentucky.
