Anita J. Hinkle, 94, of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

She was born on July 18, 1928 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky to John and Marie (Miller) Flournoy. Anita was a member of Amazing Grace Community of Faith in Pleasure Ridge Park.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Earl Hinkle, James Hinkle, David Hinkle, Wayne Hinkle, and William Hinkle; father, John H. Flournoy, mother, Marie Miller Flournoy; and daughter-in-law, Marie Hinkle.

Anita is survived by her son, Eugene Hinkle, Willie Mae Camp (Charles), Mary Louise Hinkle; daughter-in-laws, Beverly and Carolyn Hinkle; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pewee Valley Cemetery East in Pewee Valley, Kentucky.
