Angela Dawn Ratterman, 46, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2020, following a 13 year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
She was born on June 18, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky and was a Louisville resident for 46 years. Angela attended Fern Creek High School in Louisville, Kentucky, graduating in 1992. After high school, Angela worked in Human Resources for various companies through the years until her cancer diagnosis in 2007.
Angie was a devoted mother who truly enjoyed her family and friends. Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her two loving sons, Logan Anthony Edward Edelen, and Evan Chase Hunt, her mother and step father, Linda Denzik Barnett and Mark Barnett, sisters, Meagan Ratterman and Jerica Rayman, brothers, David Ratterman, Jr. and Cory Minyard and her grandfather, Edward Irvine Denzik. Angie also leaves behind a large network of family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances and care givers who rallied around her during her fight against cancer.
Angela has chosen cremation, and did not wish for a traditional service to be held; instead, a celebration of life event is being scheduled.
