Andrew Paul Steely

Andrew Paul Steely 89, of Louisville, KY went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, November 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Born in Corbin, KY to Simon and Millie Steely. Served in The Air Force and recipient of Bronze Star and WWII Victory Medal. Graduate of UK, BS Industrial Engineering, member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Product Service Management at GE for 40 years. President of Optimist Club in Shades Valley, AL, and member of Middletown, KY Chapter. Deacon, Elder, Trustee Chairman of Middletown Christian Church. 16 year member of Southeast Christian Church.

Preceded in death by brothers; Doyle, Harold, Leland, W.G., Morris and nephew Maurice Jr.

Survived by loving wife of 60 years Theresa S. Steely, children; Andrea (Jeffrey) Hill, Theresa (James) Trimpe, Kathy (Stephen) Bryant, Lynda (John) Bradley. 11 wonderful grandchildren. Sister Shirley (Mel) Reitnour; brothers, Simon (Beverly) Steely, Tom (Margie) Steely and many treasured cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday November 11, 2013 at Middletown Christian Church 500 Watterson Trail Louisville, Ky from 10-11:30am with service to follow at 11:30am.
