Amy C. (Marsh) Douglas

Amy C. (Marsh) Douglas, 87, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where she actively volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Amy enjoyed listening to music, reading, and working crossword puzzles. She liked making rosaries and jewelry and knitting.

She was born on January 8, 1936, in Camp Taylor, Kentucky, to Edward and Josephine (Higgins) Marsh. In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Douglas, Sr.; brothers, Edward, Livy, John, Thomas, Florian, and Michael; and sisters, Edith, Mary, Norie, Virginia, and Teresa.

Amy is survived by her sons, Robert "Bob" Douglas, Jr., and Michael "Mike" Douglas; sister, Rose; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Florian Tiell at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
