Amelia Judy Deitsch
Amelia Judy (Hines) Deitsch, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Judy had retired from American Commercial Barge Lines and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Albany.
Judy was born on February 8, 1938 to Frank R. and Beatrice (Mason) Hines in New Albany, Indiana.
Judy is survived by her sons, William F. Deitsch and Jeffrey W. Deitsch both from New Albany; mother, Beatrice (Mason) Hines; brother, Geral F. Hines and his wife, Donna of Floyds Knobs; sister, Keera Kraha and her husband, Robert of Louisville; grandchildren, Jeremy W. Deitsch and his wife Erica, Jayla K. Deitsch, Amanda Nicole Rogers, Margaret Katherine Swartz and great-grandchildren, Taeghan, Braylan and Alexander Zoon.
The visitation will be from 11 AM to 7 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (formerly Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Monday, July 26, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1534 Slate Run Road, New Albany with burial to follow in SCI Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions in Judy's memory may be made to her church.
