Amelda "Veatrice" (Brady) Bube, 82, of Louisville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. She attended Presentation Academy and was a former member of St. Cecilia.
Veatrice was born on April 14, 1932 in Louisville to the late Bernard and Mary (Fogle) Brady. She married the late Raymond Bube, Sr. in 1952 and dedicated the rest of her life to raising their family and loving her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine McTighe; and 5 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Bube, Jr. (Sharon), Patricia Bube, Robert Bube (Nancy), Karen Beam, Ronald Bube (Kathy), Linda Bube, Mary Bube; son-in-law, Dennis McTighe; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, June 13, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (3511 Rudd Avenue, Louisville, KY 40212) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Children's Home (2823 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206).
