Amanda L. Lackore - Keeton

Amanda Lackore, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Amanda was a devoted wife, loving aunt, and faithful friend. She was an avid animal lover adopting and taking care of many cat fur babies. Amanda enjoyed homemaking and gardening often spending time outside planting flowers. Amanda was an adventurer, she enjoyed travel spending time visiting Arizona, and scuba diving in Mexico. Her Memory will be cherished by all whose lives she touched.

She was born on November 26, 1964 in New Hartford, New York to James and Mary Ellen Lackore. She is preceded in death by her father, James K. Lackore, and her mother, Mary Ellen Lackore; sister, Melissa Sutton; and sister - in -law, Pamela Higgins.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Lowell Keeton; brothers, Greg Lackore (Stella), Lucius Lackore (Peggy); brother - in - law, Hal Keeton (Debbie); sister-in-law, Claudette Simmons (John); nieces, Amber Thorpe (Jack), Heather Schmitt (Eric) Kristin Johnson (Brien), Laura Ebbert (Alex), Sarah Lackore; and nephew, Andrew Lackore (Carrie).

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, March 22, from 2:00pm to 4:30pm, with a memorial service to follow at 4:30pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home East Chapel, 235 Juneau Dr., Louisville, KY, 40243.
