Amanda Lynn Firkin

Amanda Lynn Firkin, 40, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022. She was born on November 3, 1981, in New Albany, Indiana. Amanda loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and 4-wheeling. She enjoyed traveling and had a caring heart when it came to animals and children. Above all else, Amanda dearly loved her family.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Ernest "Scooter" and Sarah Firkin; brother, Ernest "Lil Scooter" (Jessica) Firkin; fiancé, Travis Kruer; stepdaughter, Abigail Frakes Kruer; nephews, Austin and Brayden Firkin; and niece, Isabella Firkin.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
