Alona Gail Truax

Mrs. Alona Gail Truax, age 64 of Greenwood, Indiana lost her courageous battle on Friday, October 28, 2011 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a member of the Heartland Church of Christ, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Nettie Bell Johnson Black and her daughter, Audra Veronica Truax, siblings Raymond and Martha.

Mrs. Truax is survived by her loving husband 47 years, James W. Truax, Sr.; sons, Jonathan Trent Truax (Jennifer), Carlton Holt Truax and James W. Truax, Jr.; sisters, Judy LaFrance and Delores Panice; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral ceremony will be 12:30 pm Wednesday, November 2nd at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, KY with visitation there Tuesday 2-8 pm and Wednesday 10 am until time of service. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
