Alois Anton Arnold, Jr.

Alois "Tony" Anton Arnold, Jr. 63, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Tony was a dedicated employee and spent 29 years working at General Electric. He enjoyed working with his hands and had numerous hobbies and interests. In recent years, Tony enjoyed spending his free time creating his model train display. He took pride in his landscaping and was a cinema and TV enthusiast. Tony had a generous heart and was always willing to support those in need. Most importantly, he loved being a Papaw to his grandchildren.

He was born on April 14, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Alois and Elizabeth (Lucey) Arnold. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Lucey; step-mother, Catherine Arnold; and children's mother, Pamela Benson.

Tony is survived by his loving family, daughter, Amanda (Mark) Sanders; son, Christopher Arnold; father, Alois Anton Arnold, Sr.; grandchildren, Emersyn Sanders, Aubrey Williams, Jackson Sanders, William Sanders; brother, Tommy Arnold; sisters, Mary Arnold-Seng, Diane Beauerle; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.
