Alma Jean Becht, 88, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Alma enjoyed bowling, bunco, and playing cards. Alma also loved to watch golf.

Alma was born in New Albany, Indiana on October 26, 1925 to the late Albert E. and Edna (Mayfield) Moore. Alma is also preceded in death by her husband, Louis Becht; grandson, Charles Becht; brothers; Eddie, Donald, and Paul Moore.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Patty), David (Lyn), and Tim (Lula) Becht. Alma is also survived by, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2014 and from 9 to 11 AM Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary's the Knobs Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (153 Thierman Lane Louisville, KY 40207.)
