Allison Michelle Summers
January 3, 1976 — February 18, 2021
On February 18, 2021 Allison Michelle Summers took the Lord's hand and left this world. She was a loving mother to Matthew Shane Summers and a wonderful caring daughter to Sharon Henon Smith and Renault Smith. She was 45 years young. She had been very ill from her Lupus damaged liver and kidneys for the past 9 months.
Allison was preceded in death by her uncle, Don Henon Sr, her grandparents: Wanda Marlow Henon, and Hubert (Bud) Henon, Maysel Summers, and Henry Summers.
She is survived her son, Matthew; her parents, Sharon and Renault; her father, Gary Summers; half siblings, Jinny, Will, and Blake Summers; an uncle, Larry Henon; and cousins,
Don Henon Jr, Chris Henon, Shauntya Wolfe, and Amanda Robinson. She is also survived by her best friend of a lifetime, Jerica Faye Coffey.
On February 18th her mom laid in the bed beside her and hugged her good and hard while talking in her ear. She took her last breath at 3:15 PM. Allison asked to be cremated. So a Celebration of Life is planned at Newcomers Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., Louisville, KY 40243 on Saturday February 27 from 5pm to 8pm.
