Allen W. Shepherd

Allen Shepherd, 58, a beloved member of the LGBTQ+ community, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, joining his mother, Judith Shepherd, father, Waymond Shepherd and leaving behind his longtime partner, Jerry Shireman, fur baby, Joker, and good friend, Gary Kime.

Born on December 18, 1963, Allen was known for his kindness and compassion towards everyone. Allen worked at Mitchell Plastik for over ten years and was adored by so many of his coworkers. Allen loved being creative and was very artistic in nature.

Though he is no longer with us, Allen's legacy as a kind, compassionate, and loving human being will, undoubtedly, live on. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Allen Shepherd.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
