Allen L. Priddy

Allen L. Priddy, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, September 26, 2022. Allen was retired from Shively Public Works, where he worked for 38 years. After retirement he kept busy working on anything with a motor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, swapping guns and stories, and fishing on Salem Lake. Allen will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was born on November 16, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Betty (Hack) Priddy. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Hack, Father, James R. Priddy, and Wife, Sandy C. Priddy.

Allen is survived by his loving family, Children, A.G. (Erin) Priddy, Stacy J. (Steve) Smith, and Jason (Lauren) Priddy; 8 Grandchildren; Brothers, Deney Priddy and Arthur (Kristi) Priddy, as well as a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).His Visitation will continue from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and His Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Allen's memory be made to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
