Alleen Davison

Alleen (Baker) Davison, 67, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Alleen was a member of Briargate Presbyterian Church in Louisville. She graduated from Valley High School in 1961 and had a degree in business education from Western Kentucky University. Alleen worked at United Mercantile Agency in Louisville for 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother as well as an avid sports fan.

Alleen was born on October 18, 1943 in Louisville to the late Joseph and Ruth Baker. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Reverend Anna K. Baker.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 43 years, Jim Davison; son, Jay Davison and his wife, Kelly, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; daughter, Jamie Davison ReVelle and her husband, Josh of Oregon, Illinois; brother, Jay Baker and his wife, Judy of Louisville, Tennessee; and two grandchildren.

Her visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) followed by the Funeral Service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
