Alicia "Lici" Marie Perez, of Louisville, Kentucky, unexpectedly passed away at her home, on September 10, 2023. She was only 24 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden and tragic death, but she is no longer suffering on this Earth.
Lici was born on March 25, 1999, in Missouri, to Tonya Sims and Ramon Perez. She was strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Lici. They were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life's challenges. She was fearless and independent.
Lici had an enormous heart and a bright, fun spirit. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives.
Lici will be remembered for all the heart and love she shared with her friends and family. She will be missed very much and continuously remembered by many lives she touched. Even though she got on peoples nerves she was still someone who was taken home too soon.
Lici was a daughter, a sister and a mother. As a mother, she was doing everything in her power to make the best life for herself and her children, that she loved unconditionally. Being a good mother was the most important thing to her. She loved, protected and provided for her babies, no matter what tribulations she may have succumbed.
Alicia is survived by her children, Brayden Sublett, 6, Troyana Santana Marie Young, 3, Jayce Laray Yarbrough, 2 and London Lauryn Renae Stroud, 6 mos. Additionally, her mother and father, Tonya Sims and Ramon Perez, siblings, Nik Pedrino and Trea Sims, grandmother, Gertrude "Pat" Sims, cousin, Chelsea Fleeks, aunt, Rosie Renier-Powell, cousins Brian Renier and Rebecca Renier, and some of her closest, dearest friends.
