Alice V.(Kopp) Cox

Alice V. (Kopp) Cox, 73, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on March 20, 2012. Alice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Albany. She was the past president of the Relief Society at church and could be described as a true servant to others.

Alice was born on March 21, 1938 to the late Raymond and Artie (Byerly) Kopp. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles O. "Charlie" Cox; son, Bobby Holmes; siblings, Wilfred Kopp and Joyce Poff.

She is survived by her children, Angela Fraley (Ted), Lisa Campbell-Hall, Linda Keeling; siblings, Dallas Kopp (Nancy), Raymond Kopp (Verlene), Betty Reasor (Don); sister-in-law, Nancy Kopp; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Visitation will be from 10 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1534 Slate Run Road, New Albany) followed by burial at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.
