Alice Smith

Alice "Tootsie" Smith, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Alice was a caregiver to all of the family in times of sickness and celebration. She was a Criminal Analyst at KSP and retired after many years of faithful service. Alice will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on June 21, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to Louis and Kathryn (Seadler) Kamber. She is preceded in death by her Father, Louis Kamber, Mother, Kathryn Kamber, Husband, Donald Smith, and 11 Brothers and Sisters.

Alice is survived by her loving family, Daughter, Vicki Gordon, Son, Todd Gordon; Grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley) Gordon and Trinity Gordon; Great-Grandson, Braydenn Gordon; Brother, Marvin (Edith) Kamber, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy) visitation will continue the follow day 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Alice's memory be made to Alzheimer's Association or Breast Cancer Society.
