Alice Jean Ratmiroff

Alice Jean Ratmiroff (Meyer), age 85 of Louisville, KY, passed away December 08, 2022 accompanied by loving family. She was born in New York City, New York April 1st, 1937. Alice was a Doctor in Medicine who retired from her chosen profession when she moved to Louisville, KY pursuing instead alternative medicine. Alice lived life in her own way. Alice traveled the world. She was never defeated by the seemingly impossible. After raising all 6 of her children she pursued her high school degree in Venezuela and then proceeded to pursue her medical doctor education in her mid forties. She was an athlete who loved tennis. Alice was a very spiritual person who believed in alternative medicine. Her belief in Theosophy, reincarnation and Karma taught her children and grandchildren to live by the golden rule of treating others the way they want to be treated. Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Sergio; and her parents, William and Mercedes Velasquez Meyer; brother-in-laws and sister-in-law, Nicolas and Graciela Ramiroff, Eduardo Quesada, Jim Fairbain, & Richard Gormley.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory her six loving children, Sergio (Carol Sue), Guillermo (Sonia), Alberto, Carolina (Tiberiu), Lillian and Nicolas (Lucia); 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Norma Quesada , Carol Fairbain & Lillian Gormley; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to their friends and family who expressed their love sentiments and prayers.
