Alice Ann Marx

Alice Ann Marx, 82, of Louisville, KY, passed away on November 15, 2022. She was a devote Catholic and taught in the Catholic school system, in Louisville, as an English and Religion teacher. She was a graduate of St Mary of the Woods College, Terrehaute, IN. Alice and her husband, Robert were Oblates of St. Benedict. She enjoyed volunteering at the Kentucky Center of the Arts and helped the visually impaired with reading the programs of the performances.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sharon Marx and her parents, Theodore and Wilhemenia Leek.

Alice leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Robert T. Marx, Stephen (Debby) Marx and Trish Linnig; grandchildren, Ariel Edlin and Krishna (Madeline) Edlin, great-grandsons, Samuel and Adam Haveman and sister, Julie (John) Sullivan.

A funeral mass for Alice will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, KY 40216, beginning at 10am.

Alice will be laid to rest at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204 with graveside services beginning at 12pm.
