Alice Gillespie

Kathy Gillespie, 54, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, peacefully in her home. She was surrounded by her friends and family when she left this life. Kathy was born on December 15, 1968, in Louisville, KY, and was a 1987 graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School. She was full of life and sass and loved her job as a medical assistant at Phoenix Health Center until she had to take early leave due to her illness. She loved her family, friends, patients and coworkers as if they were family.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Paul Gillespie; mother, Fanny Rodgers and her sister, Beverly Harrison.

Kathy leaves to cherish her memories, her significant other, Joe Mouser; daughters, Sara Hirst and Cristy (Eric Bentley) Hammond; grandsons, Jaden Hirst and Christian McLemore; brother, Dean (Deborah) Adams; sister, Glenda Goins and countless other who loved her dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at 6505 Terry Road, Louisville, KY 40258. Any flowers or gifts can be sent to Joe Mouser and Cristy Hammond at 6505 Terry Road, Louisville, KY 40258.
