Alice Belinda Duffy

Alice Belinda Duffy, 74, of Louisville KY, passed away on Friday May 19, 2023. She graduated from Manual High School in 1966, worked at Consolidated Sales Company in St. Matthews, and over the years worked in many capacities in childcare and as a caregiver. Everyone who knew Alice affectionately called her "Aunt Bea", "Grandma Bea", or simply "Bea" or "Beabell".
She was born on October 9th, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Richard and Alice (Fortwengler) Duffy. Bea was preceded in death by her mother Alice, and her brother William Coley Sr.
Bea is survived by her father, Richard Duffy, Sr; son, Scott Duffy; siblings, Michael Duffy Sr. and Richard Duffy Jr; nephews William Coley Jr, Michael Duffy Jr, and Brandon Duffy; many great nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Bea's wishes were to be cremated, and for her remains to reside both next to her mother Alice at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, and with her son Scott and daughter-in-law Cheryl in Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
