Alice Pearl (Wright) Allen, 76, of New Albany, passed away on May 26, 2012.
Pearl was born on February 29, 1936, in Crawford County, Indiana, to the late Marvin Wright & Beatrice (Mead) Enlow.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James "Jim" Allen; children, Cheryl Carrico (Steve), Patti Wooldridge, Curtis Allen, & James Allen; grandchildren, Emily Smith (Josh), Ellie, Whitney, & Lauren; great granddaughter, Layla; sisters, Nora Neese, Donna Jenkins, Doris Bye, Leroy, Teddy & Carl Enlow. Along with her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Wright.
Her Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fredonia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (624 East Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
