Alexis "Henrietta" Poole, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. She enjoyed going shopping and loved spending time with her great-niece, Gia.
She was born on November 12, 1951, in New Albany, Indiana, to Alex Poole and Ramona (Overton) Poole. In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Poole; and sister, Laura Poole.
Henrietta is survived by her niece, Genine Poole; great-niece, Gia Duncan; cousin, Joy Brown; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at West Haven Cemetery in New Albany.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
