Albert J. Turner, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky departed this earthly life on March 31, 2023.
Albert (Al) was born in Louisville, Kentucky to his parents, Bobby Turner and Mary Cosby.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby R. Turner, a Louisville basketball legend. He attended Eastern High School. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and the Louisville Cardinals, where his father played and and helped lead the team to 3 consecutive NCAA appearances in 1977, 1978, and 1979, as well as two consecutive Metro Conference titles. Albert loved hanging out with his friends and more importantly, loved his children and his granddaughter. He previously worked at Logan's Steakhouse, The Eagle, Packaging Unlimited, and Kroger's Distribution.
He leaves to mourn his passing; one son, Kaivon Turner (Angelita); two daughters, Kyeli Brandon and Adrianne Moss; sister, Chelita Gray of Lawndale, California; granddaughter, Saraiya Turner; mother, Mary Cosby (Wayne); niece, Ryleigh Gray of Lawndale, California; stepbrother, Ronnie McWhorter;
tepsister, Raynetta Curd; stepmother, Sonja Davis (Charles); long time friend, Shaneka Brandon; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
