Adeline May Myers

Adeline May Myers, 81, of Louisville passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. She retired from Jefferson County Public Schools where she worked for over 20 years. Adeline was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and Nana. She was a lover of all animals, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandkids. Adeline had an appreciation for music with Elvis and Patsy Cline being some of her favorites. She was proud to be a Buckeye and always considered Ohio her home away from home.

Adeline is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert "Bobby" Myers; and her parents, Joseph and Mary Fisher. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Karagianis (Keith); son, James Myers; grandchildren, Allison and Blake Karagianis; her twin brother, Howard "Butch" Fisher (Colene); and various nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Royal Oak Cemetery, 7217 National Rd, Brookville, OH 45309. Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to staff and nurses of Hosparus of Louisville and Hallmark House. Memorial contributions in memory of Adeline may be made to Norton Children's Hospital.
