Adele Lamping of Louisville, KY passed away on December 2, 2021.

She was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late Catherine and Harry Kurre. Adele was a graduate of Regina High School in Cincinnati. She was married to the late James Albert Lamping for over 55 years. Adele worked as an assistant to the principal at Holy Spirit School in Louisville for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents and husband, Adele is preceded in death by siblings, Robert Kurre, Helen Meyer, Paul Kurre, and Richard Kurre.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Britt and James (TJ) Lamping; sister, Joan Brown; and grandchildren, Sarah Lamping, Max (Jen) Clark, Will Clark, and Garrett Escalante.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville (235 Juneau Drive). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 11:00 am at St. Edward Catholic Church (9608 Sue Hellen Drive).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Adele's memory may be made to the Home of the Innocents, 1100 East Market Street, Louisville, KY 40206.
