Adam Lloyd Wein

Adam Lloyd Wein, 39, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on June 29, 2024. Born on September 5, 1984, in Davenport, Iowa, Adam was a vibrant presence, known for his fun-loving and energetic personality. He was a spirited individual, always vigilant and driven by his goals.

Adam graduated from Jeffersonville High School before earning his degree from Purdue University. He was a proud Boilermaker who most recently applied his keen analytical skills as an accountant with Wild Eggs.

An athletic man, Adam was passionate about golf, having played on his high school golf team, and remained an avid golfer throughout his life. His love for sports extended to being a fervent supporter of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and, of course, the Purdue Boilermakers basketball team. Adam enjoyed playing videogames, an activity which helped him to bond with his son.

Adam also found joy in gardening and lawn care, which reflected his nurturing side as he grew flowers for his wife. Halloween was a special time for Adam, he was thrilled by the spooky season. He passed down this love of all things spooky to his young daughter who delighted in playing monsters with her daddy.

Family was central to Adam's life. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Angelica, and a loving father to his children, Isabella and Chase. Adam is survived by his parents, Keith and Kimberly; sisters, Carrie (Paul) and Audra; nieces, Willow and Gemma; grandparents, Mary Wein, Paul and Ruth Bruno; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester Wein, Richard and Linda Engel. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. A celebration of Adam's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

Adam's life was a testament to his loving, spirited nature, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew.
